An apartment fire was reported on Wednesday by Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Rescue and Marine.
BQ Volunteers were alerted to respond to the 3800 block of Dunsmuir Circle in Bowleys Quarters for a reported apartment fire around 1 p.m. on Jan. 3.
Upon arrival, units reported smoke showing from a third floor apartment unit. Crews advanced a hose to the third floor bedroom to extinguish the fire while other crews searched the apartment unit for victims.
All occupants were able to exit prior to fire department arrival and were evaluated by EMS on location.
Several other area fire departments responded to assist as well.
