County Gives Update on Key Bridge Collapse

Rescue crews are still onsite in the Dundalk area after the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed on Tuesday morning.

Baltimore County reported that six people remain unaccounted for at this point and two people were recovered from the water this morning.

This tragedy has affected areas around Baltimore.

Harbor Crossings alternate routes are the I-95 or I-895 tunnels. Vehicles transporting hazardous materials (includes propane over 10 lbs.) are still prohibited to use the tunnels and should use the northern portion of the Beltway and the western section of I-695 around Baltimore.

The Port of Baltimore announced all vessel traffic into and out of the Port of Baltimore is suspended until further notice. The Port is still open to truck traffic.

The FAA has also placed flight restrictions around the Francis Scott Key Bridge rescue area. Drone pilots are being told not to interfere with rescue operation at this site.
