The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company crews were called to the scene behind Country Farm Road north of Ebenezer Road in White Marsh for a possible train derailment around 11:21 p.m. on Tuesday.

Units on scene reporting a stopped train but no derailment was found.

CSX reported that they received notification of an emergency stop. The noise from this and a possible coupler that broke may have been mistaken for a derailment. Units continued to investigate.

After the investigation of rail cars, no derailment, leaks or hazards were found.

CSX took over the scene and the fire department left the scene around 11:55 p.m.
