Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding an Essex shooting.
Baltimore County police officers responded to the 900 block of Holgate Dr. in Essex following reports of a shooting on Tuesday, Jan. 24 around 7:51 p.m.
Once on scene, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
