Middle River Woman Arrested After Harford Mall Incident

Belair Police Department reported the arrest of two adult females as part of the investigation into the shooting that occurred at Harford Mall on June 2 .

Police reported Lateia Green of Middle River and Lisa Gregg of Edgewood have been arrested and charged with Accessory to Attempted 1st Degree Murder and are held without bond at the Harford County Detention Center.

The suspect, Wesley Larry Lyons is a 35-year-old Black male from Edgewood. Police are actively searching for Lyons and he is considered armed and dangerous.

On Sunday June 2 shortly after 4pm, the Bel Air Police Department and additional law enforcement agencies responded to a shooting at Harford Mall located at 696 Bel Air Road.

Upon arrival, within minutes of the initial 911 calls, our officers located an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Our officers rendered medical aid to the 42-year-old victim and began the process of securing the mall complex. The incident was initially treated as an active shooter situation until more information was gathered.

This shooting appears to be a targeted act, with Lyons and the victim knowing each other prior to the shooting. The victim remains hospitalized in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing and we would like to thank our partners at the Harford County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this investigation.
