Officer-Involved Shooting Reported in White Marsh

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department were attempting to arrest two wanted suspects at the corner of Ebenezer Road and Pulaski Highway when the suspect’s vehicle struck a detective’s car on Monday, Jan. 31 around 6 a.m.

The suspect’s vehicle also collided with a civilian’s vehicle. At least one detective discharged their firearm during this incident.

Officers took the suspects into custody and immediately rendered aid.

An adult male suspect was transported to an area hospital in critical condition suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. No member of the Baltimore County Police Department was injured.

The Baltimore County Police Department Criminal Investigations Bureau is investigating the police-involved shooting while members of the Baltimore County Police Crash Team handle the crash investigation.

This case remains part of an ongoing investigation.
