Overnight I-95 Crash Involves Five Tractor Trailers

Crews from the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company responded to a crash involving five tractor trailers and two passenger vehicles on southbound I-95 at New Forge Road Tuesday at 1:12a.m.

The highway was closed due to a large debris field and fuel spill. one patient was extricated from the vehicle while a second patient was removed from one of the trucks via ladder.

Crews were operating on the incident for 1.5 hours.

Other fire, rescue, hazmat and EMS units were alerted or responded from Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company Middle River Volunteer Fire & Rescue Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Rescue & Marine volunteer stations as well as Middle River, Golden Ring, Fullerton, Essex, Eastview and Brooklandview career stations.
