Detectives from Baltimore County’s Special Victims Unit arrested, and charged 71-year-old Michael Browning on Sept. 27 with Second Degree Rape and Second Degree Assault.
Through investigation, it was determined that over a six month time frame Michael Browning sexually assaulted the victim several times. These assaults occurred while he was employed by The Maryland Park Service as the Park Manager for Gunpowder Falls State Park.
Michael Browning of Baldwin is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Detectives are seeking information from anyone with knowledge about this case, or any other potential victims.
