Sparrows Point High School sent out a letter to notify parents that a handgun was reported on campus Monday morning. According to the letter (below) the school received word that a high school student was in possession of a handgun.
Next, the school administration investigated, and school officials reported that a loaded handgun was recovered from the student in question. The school reported that the student was arrested and taken to a local police precinct.
There has been no press release, or an official statement released from Baltimore County Police on this incident at this time.
