Teen Arrested in Dundalk Auto Theft

During the morning hours on Wednesday, Aug. 9, Baltimore County Police Officers were working an auto theft detail when they received a call for juveniles breaking into vehicles in the 2900 block of Sollers Point Road in Dundalk.

Once on scene, officers observed three vehicles fleeing from the location that were later determined to be stolen.

Officers apprehended a 15-year-old juvenile suspect on Merritt Boulevard after he was involved in a collision with an unmarked police vehicle.

As a result of the crash, an officer sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

Officers have recovered two of the stolen vehicles, a Kia Forte and a Hyundai Tucson.
