It was announced that Woody’s Pub Grub, located at 11 Margaret Avenue in downtown Essex, is set to reopen next Friday. The restaurant closed in August of 2023.

We are pleased to officially announce that Woody’s who is under new management is re-opening on Friday April 19, 2024 at 4 p.m. For the first weekend Friday the 19th, Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st we will be opening 4 p.m to ???,” said a statement from the Essex pub.
“Then starting Tuesday April 23 will go to our regular hours of Tuesday thru Sunday 11:00am until 2:00am. Mondays for now will be closed. We can’t wait to meet all of you. Come on in!!!”
