President Joe Biden visited the Dundalk area on Friday afternoon as he took a tour of the damage at the Key Bridge site.

“From the air, I saw a bridge that’s been ripped apart. But here on the ground, I see a community that’s come together. I want to thank all the first responders, port workers, and state and local officials who sprang into action before dawn and who’ve been here ever since,” Biden said a in a statement on the White House Facebook page.

After he left Dundalk, the president traveled down I-695 to Martin State Airport. Baltimore County Police shared a photo of his motorcade entering the airport. According to social media reports portions of I-695 were shutdown for the motorcade late Friday afternoon.
