Local Football Schools Go 3-5 in Week 5

Local schools went 3-5 last week as only Dundalk, Eastern Tech and Mt. Carmel won. Kenwood, Overlea, Perry Hall, Parkville and Sparrows Point suffered losses. Patapsco and Chesapeake were only area schools that played each other.

Owings Mills 22 Kenwood 6
Kenwood dropped to 1-4 on the year.

Chesapeake-AA 24 Perry Hall 9
After winning their first two games on the road 86 to 0, the Gators have lost three straight to statewide powers Dundalk, Franklin and Anne Arundel County’s Chesapeake High School. Perry Hall looks at get to 3-3 as they play at Dulaney.

Loch Raven 27 Sparrows Point 21
Sparrows Point had their three game winning streak snapped against Loch Raven in an upset. The Pointers play at undefeated Patapsco on Saturday.

Mount Carmel 12 St. Paul 7
Mount Carmel is now 3-2 after a win over St. Paul.

Hereford 40 Overlea 0
Overlea won their first game of the season but then lost at home to Hereford to drop to 1-4.

Eastern Tech 26 Pikesville 0
Eastern Tech is starting to get hot as they won their third straight against Pikesville. Eastern Tech looks to go 4-2 against Chesapeake.
Patapsco 7 Chesapeake 0

Dundalk 42 Towson 0
Dundalk bounced back from their first loss of year but shutting Towson out on the road.

Dulaney 10 Parkville 6
Parkville fell to 1-4 on the year after losing to Dulaney
