Perry Hall Middle School Reopens After Evacuation

Perry Hall Middle School sent out an email to parents explaining that the school was evacuated on Thursday morning.

According to the email, the grounds crew at the school noticed an odor of gas around 9:45 a.m.

Students and staff evacuated the building, and the Baltimore County Fire Department (BCFD) and was called to the school

The fire department investigated a d
determined that the odor was not natural gas and allowed students and staff to reenter the school at 10:15 a.m.

Students continued with the instructional day.
