The Perry Hall High Boy’s Soccer team came to end on Wednesday after the Gators fell at Catonsville 4 to 3 in the first round of the 4A MPSSAA playoffs.

Catonsville was at home since they were the fourth seed and Perry Hall was ranked fifth.

“Not the outcome that we wanted or expected. Lost a defender in the 1st 15 minutes to what was thought a possible broken ankle (turns out a really bad sprain),” said a statement from the Perry Hall High School Boys Soccer Facebook page.

“A lot of good soccer was left out on the field by both teams. But just couldn’t pull out the “W” 4-3 loss in OT ! Good luck to all the rest of the teams and seniors playing for the state championship.”

The Gators won a state title in 2015.
