Del. Bob Long “Congratulations to the Class of 2024”

The following article was submitted by Sixth District State Delegate Bob Long as he says “Congratulations to the Class of 2024” for their accomplishments-

We are entering another busy season with high school graduations and awards ceremonies. This is one of my favorite times of year when we recognize our students’ hard work.

This past week I had the opportunity to attend the graduation for Battle Monument. One thing that touched me the most was all the outpouring of love for these students from faculty, staff and especially the parents.

I am grateful for all the support they offered these students throughout their high school years. They truly made a difference in these students’ lives.

I am also proud of the students’ hard work and effort and any challenges they had to overcome. As I visit our other area schools, I see the same level of support from the faculty, staff, and parents.

I truly believe that they have a key role in our students’ success. This is an exciting time for our students. The next chapter of their life is open for them to explore.

They can choose to continue their education or start off in a career. You don’t have to have it all figured out now. There are many different paths to success, and it will be different for each student.

As I look at the students, I realize that I am looking at our state’s future. I have a sense of optimism seeing their hard work and dedication. I ask the students to look back on your graduation day in the years to come and remember this great accomplishment.

I am very proud of each of you. Congratulations to the Class of 2024!
