The MPSSAA state baseball playoffs begin this week. Here is a look at all the playoff teams from eastern Baltimore County.
Overlea received a first-round bye. The Falcon went 12-2 and are the top seed in the North Region. They will host the winner of 5. Eastern Tech at 4. Sparrows Point. That game will be played on May 11 and the winner will play at Overlea on Monday May, 15 at 4 p.m.
Patapsco is the second seed in the north region. The Patriots have a first-round bye and will host the winner of Aberdeen-Edgewood on May 15 at Patapsco. Kenwood opens up on the road as the fifth seed against Bel Air on Thursday at 4 p.m.
Perry Hall is the second seed in the north region and receives a bye. The Gators will host the winner of Mervo at Parkville on Thursday at 4. The Knights are the third seed and will host a playoff game. Dundalk is the fourth seed and will host fifth seed Catonsville on Thursday at 4 p.m. If the Owls can win, they play at top seeded Dulaney in the second round.
