CCBC Essex Women’s Basketball team had their season ended on Friday night by Johnson County 59 to 54.
This was the national semifinals for the NJCAA Division II Women’s Championship.
The Lady Knights would go on and lose in the third-place game on Saturday to Mesa.
The team advanced to the NJCAA Final Four after impressive wins in the early rounds.
CCBC Essex Athletics released a positive statement after the team on X (perviously known as Twitter)

, qualified for the national tournament all four seasons the program has competed, and reached the final four in 3 straight seasons!”
