Rain is in the forecast for Saturday and many holiday events are scheduled in the area for that day.
Dundalk already canceled its Christmas Parade but the AVENUE at White Marsh said its holiday parade is still scheduled regardless of the forecast.
“Our 25th Annual Holiday Parade is this Saturday at 10 a.m. And for everyone that is wondering, the parade is a rain or shine event,” said a statement on the AVENUE at White Marsh Facebook page.
“So – we are hoping for a change in the forecast. But, we will be set-up for whatever is coming our way.”
In addition to the two parades, there is a tree lighting in Essex and a boat parade in Dundalk scheduled for Saturday evening.
According to Google weather, most of the rain is expected in the morning and there is less of a chance for rain in the late afternoon/ early evening.
