A building fire was reported in Essex on Thursday night.
The Essex Volunteer Fire Company reported the blaze in the 600 block of South Marlyn Avenue around 4:30 p.m.
First arriving units reported smoke showing from a two story duplex with active fire on the first floor. Engine 511 was 3rd arriving engine Crews fought the fire in the crawl space.
The fire was under control and crew left the scene around 6 p.m.
There were no report of any injuries.
