Baltimore County Police reported a juvenile was assaulted in Essex.
The incident took place on March 7 in the 1400 Hadwick Drive in Essex.
Charges have been filed against five of the eight juveniles involved in the assault.
“Due to the ages of three of the juveniles, state law prohibits the Department from bringing charges against them in this case. Based on the information provided to investigators, this incident is not believed to be a hate crime,” Baltimore County Police said in a statement
“As previously stated, the Department is aware of videos reportedly taken during the assault.”
