Man Suffers Critical Injuries in Rosedale Mobile Home Fire

Baltimore County Fire Department gave an update on the Wednesday night fire in Rosedale.

Firefighters responded to the 1300 block of Evering Avenue in Rosedale on Jan. 8 around 8:20 p.m
for a report of a dwelling fire. They found fire coming from the home.

During search efforts, crews located an adult male in a bedroom. Fire crews rescued him from the home, and EMS provided him medical care. EMS transported him to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Firefighters also rescued a dog from the home, and neighbors provided care.

Fire investigators from the Baltimore County Police Department have determined an electrical malfunction caused the fire.
