Strong Storm Damage Reported in Dundalk Area

A major storm ripped through the Dundalk area on Friday. Many  residents reported “tornado” type damage, although it is too early to confirm if this was from a tornado.

NWS Confirms Dundalk Tornado

Merritt Boulevard (photo) has debris on both sides in Stanbrook.

Tree and pole damage, sliding and roof damage and vehicle damages were reported on social media.

There were damages reported in Stanbrook, West Inverness, Dundalk and Holabird avenues and the Holabird Industrial Park.

North Point Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department reported Millers Island Road is also closed due to trees down on wires.

Baltimore County reported BGE  and Baltimore County Police Department are on scene assisting residents and assessing impacts to homes and businesses.

No injuries have been  reported. Crews will remain on-site through the night.
