Sparrows Point & Perry Hall girls soccer teams are in the state semifinals after winning their state quarterfinal games over the weekend.
2A State Quarterfinals-Sparrows Point 9 Lack 01
After a hard fought 2-1 over Eastern Tech, The Pointers won their next two games by a combined total of 20-1 Sparrows Point advances to the 2A State Semifinals and will play CM Wright at Laurel High School. The game is scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m.
4A State Quarterfinals- Perry Hall 2 Roosevelt 1
The Gators went on the road as an eighth seed and defeated top seed Roosevelt 2-1. Perry Hall will play Crafton in the 4A State Semifinals on Friday at 5 p.m. The game will be played at Henry Wise High School, the same field as the boys soccer team‘s game
