Eastern Tech wins their first game in two years as they upset Sparrows Point. Parkville, Perry Hall and Dundalk are now 2-0 after Friday wins.
Eastern Tech 13 Sparrows Point 7
Eastern Tech pulled off a huge upset and ended their 12-game losing streaking by beating Sparrows Point on the road 13-7. The Mavericks were winless in 2023 and won their first game since 2022. Eastern Tech will look to go 2-1 as they host Dulaney Friday. Sparrows Point will look to bounce back at home against Loch Raven
Perry Hall 44 10 Western Tech 6
Perry Hall went undefeated in the regular season in 2023 and the team is 2-0 after beating Western Tech. The Gators play at Franklin next week.
Franklin 9 Overlea 0
After scoring 22 points against Patapsco, Overlea was shut out against Franklin.
Dundalk 47 New Town 6
Dundalk improves to 2-0 after a 47-6 win over New Town. Dundalk will host Woodlawn this week.
Catonsville 41 Chesapeake 6
Chesapeake got off to 1-0 start but loss to Catonsville 41-6 The Bayhawks will try to get back in the win column against Lansdowne.
Dulaney 14Kenwood 13
Kenwood is now 0-2 after a home loss to Dulaney. The Bluebirds will look for their first win against Milford Mill.
Parkville 21 Patapsco 20
Parkville quarterback Hannes Lauterbach scored a late touchdown to give his team a 21-20 win over Patapsco.
