Baltimore County Councilman David Marks announced today that he has secured funding for the Bucks Schoolhouse Road traffic signal at Perry Hall Boulevard.
Working with the County Executive’s office, the signal has been included in the list of upcoming projects, and contracting is moving forward.
The intersection now meets all federal standards for installation of a traffic signal. There is roughly a six-month schedule for ordering parts and installing the equipment.
“I am glad we were able to break the logjam to get this project moving forward,” commented Councilman David Marks, who sponsored a resolution to bring urgency to the need for improvements at this intersection.
“We are pushing hard for long-needed resurfacing and road projects throughout northeastern Baltimore County, and were thrilled with the opening of Nottingham Middle School which is a big asset to the Rossville and White Marsh neighborhoods.”
“We are excited with the progress now being made on this important project, which will improve safety for current and future residents,” commented Eric Endryas, president of the South Perry Hall Boulevard Improvement Association.
