US National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington reports a Winter Storm Advisory is is effect from Sunday at 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the area.
Snow is expected with total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches.
Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact travel.
According to NWS, snow will overspread the area Sunday morning and continue through the afternoon before tapering off during the evening. Snowfall rates could approach one inch an hour at times. Temperatures will fall into the teens Sunday night so any lingering moisture on area roadways will freeze.
