Perry Hall High Softball Named Co-County Champions

Perry Hall was declared Baltimore County Softball co-champions along with Towson at CCBC Catonsville on Tuesday.

According to the Perry Hall High Softball Facebook page, the Gators were tied 2 to 2 with Towson in the fourth inning when the game was called due to rain.

There were plans to resume the game on Wednesday, but there is more rain in the forecast. The teams both agreed to share the County title.

Now the Gators move on to the state playoffs. Here is a look at the state playoffs.

4A
Perry Hall is the number one seed in the 4A North Region and have a first round bye. They will play the winner of 4-Western/5 Mervo.

Dundalk is ranked third in the same region. They also received a bye and will play at two seed Woodlawn in the second round.

3A
Overlea is the fourth seed in the 3A North Region and will host Catonsville. The winner will play at top seeded Towson in round two.

2A
Eastern Tech is the top seed in the 2A North Region. The Mavericks are ranked 11th by the Baltimore Sun. They earned a first-round bye and will host the winner of 5 Chesapeake/ 4 Patapsco in the second round. Sparrows Point is the second seed in that region. They will host Carver Vo-Tech in the second round.
