Most Raven fans are focusing on their team in tonight’s final preseason game, but one hometown kid is on the opposing team.

Running back Ronnie Brown, who is a 2019 graduate of Dundalk High School, will play tonight for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brown played his first three years of high school at Sparrows Point High and played under Dundalk coach Matt Banta in 2018. After high school, he went to Division II Shepherd University in West Virginia in 2019.

The 23-year-old was named Division II First Team All American. According to shepherdrams.com, Brown was named first team All-PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) East in 2021 and 2022 He had over 3,000 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns in his career.

Some of his highlights included a 100-yard kickoff return touchdown to help Shepherd defeat Kutztown. Brown was a three-time PSAC East Athlete of the Week selection in 2019 as he led NCAA Division II in rush yards 8.47 per carry.

Brown, who will wear number #43, tonight, was as an undrafted free agent signed by Tampa Bay in May. The running back is listed at 5’11” and 187 lbs.

If Ronnie Brown can survive the next round of cuts, he will likely make an NFL Roster.
