Rossville Elementary Teacher Dies in Crash

Rossville Elementary School made the sad announcement that one of its teachers, Rahmel Summerlin, died in February.

Parkville Wins Boys Basketball State Title

Parkville defeated Meade 72 to 56 to win the 4A State Title in Boys Basketball.

New Middle School Map Selected for BCPS Board of Education

The Central and Northeast Area Middle School Boundary Study Committee announced they are sending a new map Option E to the BCPS Board of Education for approval.

High School Student Fatally Shot on Rossville Blvd. in Fullerton

Baltimore County police officers responded to Belair Road at Rossville Boulevard in Fullerton for a reported fatal shooting of a Parkville High student on Sunday, April 23 at 9:45 p.m.

Middle River Icon Ronnie “Daddy Kool” Alder, Sr. Passes Away

Middle River lost a key member of its community as the Heritage Society of Essex and Middle River, Inc.reported Ronnie “Daddy Kool” Alder, Sr. passed away.

Kenwood High’s Two-Time Principal of Year is Leaving School

Kenwood High School principal Brian Powell announced that he is leaving the Essex school.

One of the biggest social media stars in Dundalk right now is the Rapping Roofer known as Logan Lambert. His video “Straight Outta Dundalk “has been seen all over social media pages in Dundalk.

 

Former State Senator Norman Stone Died in June

Former state Senator Norman Stone passed away at the age of 87.Stone represented the Edgemere area for 52 years in the Maryland General Assembly and 48 years as a member of the Maryland State Senate

Perry Hall High Student Selected as McCormick Unsung Hero

McCormick & Company announced Carter Herbert of Perry Hall High School was selected as the male recipients of the Charles Perry McCormick Scholarship. He will receive $40,000 over the next four years.

Dundalk Middle School Principal Passes Away

Baltimore County Public Schools announced Dundalk Middle School principal Natalie Adams had passed away. She was 55.

First Principal Named at New Northeast Middle School

Former Stemmers Run Middle School Teacher Bryan Thanner has been named the first principal of the new Northeast Middle School on King Avenue. He started his new position on July 3.

Dundalk High Grad to Play Against Ravens Tonight

Most Raven fans are focusing on their team in tonight’s final preseason game, but one hometown kid is on the opposing team.

Campbell Boulevard Bridge to Replace Mohrs Lane Bridge

A new bridge is planned that would connect Campbell Boulevard at Philadelphia Road to Pulaski Highway. The road formerly known as Mohrs Lane (behind the Home Depot shopping center) has been renamed Campbell Boulevard and it has been extended to White Marsh Boulevard (Route 43).

Cluster boxes to be installed in Fort Howard

Residents of Fort Howard received a letter from the Postmaster of the Fort Howard Post Office stating that all mail deliveries will be made with Centralized Mail Delivery starting Tuesday, Oct. 31.

45 Training to Open at AVENUE at White Marsh

The AVENUE at White Marsh announced that the F45 Training is moving into its shopping center.

Sparrows Point Girls Soccer Wins 7th State Title

The Pointers won their first state title since 2018 and their seventh in school history as they defeated Hereford 1 to 0 in the 2A Title Game

The Pickleball House Opens in Middle River

The Pickleball House in Middle River announced it is having a soft opening from Dec. 9 to Dec. 17.

Chipotle Opens in Dundalk

Chipotle Mexican Grill is now open in Dundalk. The restaurant open its doors at 7545 Holabird Avenue near Merritt Boulevard on Friday.

Avenue at White Marsh Holiday Parade

The holiday season was filled with many tree lightings, train gardens, parades and many other events. One of the highights of the season was the Avenue at White Marsh Holiday Parade
