Baltimore County Police Department responded to the 600 block of Middlesex Road in Essex in reference to a wanted person on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
Once on scene, the male suspect barricaded himself inside a residence.
Members of the Baltimore County Police Tactical and Crisis Negotiation Teams responded to the location and brought the matter to a peaceful resolution.
The male subject, taken into custody, was wanted on burglary charges and violating a protective order.
