“Police Presence” Reported at Kenwood High

Baltimore County Police reported a police presence at Kenwood High on Friday around 11:30 a.m.

This is following a brief lockdown.

Police said that their presence at the school was regarding an ongoing investigation being conducted inside the high school. There were reports of an armed student. According to the police, a student was taken into questioning but no weapon was found.

The Baltimore County Police confirmed there is a video that is circulating on social media which shows members of the police tactical team entering Kenwood High earlier in the morning.

Baltimore County Police reported all students are safe.
