The Heritage Society of Essex and Middle River will host their latest Speaker Series this Thursday, Sept. 14.
They announced they are hosting local author Howard Smith who will discuss his book “Up the Line,” the History of the Philadelphia, Wilmington, Baltimore Railroad which was the major transportation in the area in the 1840s.
The event will be held at the museum, 516 Eastern Blvd. in Essex. Visitors may tour the Museum after the event. Doors open at 6:30 pm. The event is free.
