The Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Department reported a dog was rescued from the water early this morning at Bowleys Marina.
Crews arrived at Bowleys Marina Tuesday around 4 a.m. after a dog went overboard.
According to the report, a dog leapt from a boat trying to reach the dock but missed the dock and landed in the water.
Marine Emergency Team 21 responded and quickly deployed a Surface Water Rescue Technician.
The technician and the dog owner worked together to assist the dog back to safety.
The dog and his owner were not injured.
