Baltimore County Fire Department reported a 4-year-old child succumbed to injuries suffered last night in a Parkville dwelling fire.
The victim has been identified as 4-year-old Wyatt Martin.
Crews found smoke coming from the first floor of the townhome in the 100 block of Comet Court around 10:46 p.m.
Firefighters were notified of two occupants still in the home and found an adult and Wyatt on the second floor in cardiac arrest. Both victims were removed and transported to local area hospitals in critical condition.
Unfortunately, Wyatt was pronounced deceased the hospital.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. This is the second fire fatality in 2026 in Baltimore County.
