Baltimore County Police reported a juvenile was shot in front of an Essex business in the 1700 block of Eastern Boulevard.
According to police, patrol officers were responding to a call for an assault at the business.
The officers arrived on scene and located a male juvenile a short distance away suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The suspect responsible for the shooting remained on scene and was taken into custody.
Police are still investigating this case.
