Crews with the North Point Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department responded with other units to a structure fire in Edgemere.
The fire was reported in the 8000 block of Wood Avenue on early Wednesday morning. Arriving crews found a well involved shed encroaching on a carport and nearby dwelling.
NPEVFD crews placed two hand lines in service and extinguished the fire quickly without further extension.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
