Maryland Transportation Authority released information about the Key Bridge Rebuild.
As demolition and pre-construction activity begins this summer, MDTA has announced via “Pardon Our Progress,”
* Work Hours: Monday–Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
* Demolition Underway: Crews are actively removing portions of the bridge—no detonations planned
* Noise & Vibration Monitoring: Real-time equipment helps reduce disruption
* Increased Activity: Expect to see more construction equipment on land and water
* Community Updates: Postcards, flyers, and digital updates will be shared regularly
While this work may bring temporary noise and activity, MDTA is committed to minimizing impacts and addressing concerns as we move forward together.
