Marks: Council Sets Cap for Greenleigh at Crossroads

The following statement was released by County Councilman David Marks after the County Council set a cap for the development of Greenleigh at Crossroads in Middle River-

The Baltimore County Council passed my legislation that slashes the potential number of future homes at the Greenleigh at Crossroads area by over 60 percent, setting a cap of 3,300 units. Right now, about 9,000 homes could be built.

Greenleigh at Crossroads is a beautiful, master-planned community that has contributed to the vibrancy of eastern Baltimore County.

This legislation allows Baltimore County to focus development into a specific area and at a responsible rate, helping to attract new amenities like a grocery store to the Middle River area.

I would like to thank the Greenleigh developers, our community leaders, and the Council for their support.
