The office of Councilman David Marks reported that the Department of Public Works and Transportation has approved a closure of Chapel Road in Perry Hall from Sept. 10 to Sept. 24 for utility work in the section near Synder Lane.
Local traffic will be permitted for local residents on the road.
Flaggers will be onsite to detour traffic to alternate routes.
According to Marks, Chapel Hills Farm & Nursery Inc. will remain open and Baltimore County Public Schools have been notified of the closure.
Marks added he is upset with that Baltimore County announced this decision days out.
“Let me be very clear – I am very unhappy with the poor advance notice provided on this change, and I’ve communicated that to the leadership of the Department. I wanted to pass this along as soon as I found out,” Marks said.
