Baltimore County Councilman David Marks announced that concepts are available for the new Gerst Road Park, which is planned for 22 acres east of Gerst Road and north of Joppa Road in Perry Hall.
The concept presentation includes four general conceptual designs, each of which presents a park theme. An online survey is linked to the Web Site for community members to provide input.
Councilman Marks helped negotiate the purchase of the property, which is one of six parks to have advanced since 2010.
“I would like to thank Recreation and Parks Director Bryan Sheppard for creating a new sense of urgency to getting this park done,” Councilman Marks said. “The 22-acre park will provide open space and recreational amenities in a densely-populated area of Perry Hall.”
