Stabbing reported near Perry Hall High off school property

A stabbing was reported near Perry Hall High School on Friday morning. The school said one of their students was injured.

According to the White Marsh police precinct and Councilman David Marks, the stabbing took place around 7:45 a.m. in the vicinity of Perry Hall High School but it did not occur on the school property. 

Abbey Campbell, Perry Hall Principal, sent an email to parents confirming the situation.

At approximately 7:45 a.m. this morning, school administration was notified that several students were involved in a physical altercation off campus and that one of the students involved was in possession of a knife.

A student was injured in the altercation and returned to the building where they were immediately seen by the school nurse.

Baltimore County police were contacted and are actively investigating this incident.

Law enforcement will pursue appropriate legal consequences for those involved, and school administration will take appropriate action in issuing consequences in accordance with the Student Behavior Handbook.
