33-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Parkville Crash

Officers with the Baltimore County Police Department responded to the area of Loch Raven Boulevard and Sayward Avenue in Parkville for a reported motor vehicle collision that involved a pedestrian on Wednesday, Jan. 24.

When officers arrived after 9 p.m.  they discovered 33-year-old James McCoy had been struck by a Jeep Liberty traveling northbound on Loch Raven Boulevard. McCoy, was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The driver of the Jeep Liberty did not remain at the scene of the crash. Detectives ask anyone with information pertinent to the case to contact 410-307-2020.
