Dundalk house fire reported on Wenig Road on Monday

Fire crews responded to a Monday night basement fire in Dundalk.

According to the Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Company, firefighters arrived in the 7400 block of Wenig Road, made entry, and quickly knocked down the fire, preventing further extension at a house.

The fire was reported at 7:46 p.m. on Feb. 2.

Crews remained on scene to perform overhaul operations and ensure the area was safe.
