Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff announced that an Essex man was arrested for child pornography and sexual solicitation of a minor. Here is the official release:
On August 30, 2025, deputies with the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff received a report from a county resident alleging an unknown adult male had contacted their child, who is under the age of 12, for sexual purposes.
Following a review of all evidence, an arrest warrant was issued on Sept. 19 for Jamie Lee Overton Jr., on the following charges:
• Sexual Solicitation of a Minor
• Child Pornography (2 counts)
• Obscene Telephone Misuse (2 counts)
On September 24, Overton was taken into custody in Baltimore and was later held without bond.
