Baltimore County Homicide Detectives continue investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal shooting that occurred on Friday, May 5 in the area of Route 702 and Marlyn Avenue in Essex.
At approximately 4:58 p.m., officers responded to the location for a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located the victim, who had sustained at least one gunshot wound.
Medics transported the adult victim to an area hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased.
