Baltimore County Police Department Violent Crimes Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon in the 2000 block of Inverton Road in Dundalk.
Oficers from the Dundalk Precinct responded to the scene of a reported shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a 37-year-old male inside of a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers immediately began rendering aid before the victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. At this time, police believe this to be a targeted insolated event.
