Detectives with the Baltimore County Violent Crimes Unit have placed a suspect under arrest following a shooting in the Dundalk area on Monday morning.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Sollers Point Road in Dundalk in reference to the incident around 3:08 a.m.
When officers arrived, they located an adult female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Detectives later determined that the shooting occurred near Avondale Road and Cedar Avenue.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect will be identified following a bail hearing.
