Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Company announced its former fire chief has passed away.
“The Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Company is deeply saddened to announce the passing of former Chief Gerald “Mac” McLyman. Chief McLyman, at the time of his passing, was the longest-serving active member of our organization, having been with the company for over 62 years,” said a statement from the Dundalk-based olunteer fire department.
“A celebration of his life and service, including full fire department honors, is being planned, and details will be shared as they become available.
“Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.”
