The Baltimore Ravens scored 40 points in their first game and lost. Today they put up 41 points and that was more than enough to beat the Cleveland Browns 41-17.
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson only had 225 yards passing but threw four touchdown passes, including two to Devontez Walker. Veteran receiver DeAndre Hopkins caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from Jackson.
Baltimore’s defense shut down former quarterback Joe Flacco all day.
Roquan Smith scooped up a Flacco fumbled after a sack for a touchdown.
Ravens cornerback Nate Wiggins had an interception return to setup another touchdown. Baltimore defenders sacked Flacco two times.
Ravens rookie Tyler Loop kicked a 44 and 32 yard field goals in the win.
The Ravens improve to 1-1 and host the Detroit Lions next Monday Night.
